It is important to make sure that the Compassion in Action Curriculum is relevant and current for a European context. In order to make this evaluation, we are in the process of surveying a hundred teachers from Belgium, Romania, Luxembourg, Greece, and the UK on the relevance of the content.
With these surveys we are asking teachers to think about issues such as Empathy and Compassion, Identity and Difference, Building Community, and Inclusion and Being an Ally. We want to know to what extent these issues are affecting communities and whether our curriculum should continue to address and bring awareness to such issues.
