What is E-Twinning?
E-twinning is an online platform for teachers, librarians, and other school staff to connect on ideas, projects, and be a part of a large online learning community in Europe.
The E-twinning Portal offers news, examples of project success stories, and the opportunity to grow professionally. Via the TwinSpace, participants in a project can work in a safe and protected space, students at various schools can also be invited here to work on a project.
For more information, check out e-twinning’s website here.
Past E-Twinning Events
In December 2017, an e-twinning seminar was held with 156 participants from a total of 24 countries. During this session, the participants were registered for the main PeaceJam website online learning programme and undertook a series of tasks. These tasks were designed to lead up to the production of a presentation for each participant to give to their senior managers in their school/college to promote the introduction of the PeaceJam Compassion in Action curriculum into their establishment. Throughout this process, the participants learned about the background of PeaceJam, the process of the PeaceJam programme, and identified the benefits of introducing the PeaceJam curriculum to their school or college community.
